Sean “Diddy” Combs is accused of abusing R&B singer Cassie physically and sexually during their long relationship, based on a complaint filed on Thursday.
Cassie (real name Casandra Ventura) claimed in a complaint against the music entrepreneur and producer that Combs introduced her to his luxurious, fast-paced, drug-filled lifestyle soon after she registered with his label in 2005 at the age of 19 when he was 37. A federal court in New York received the lawsuit.
Attorney Ben Brafman claims that Combs vigorously rejects the charges.
Ventura, who is currently 37 years old, claims that Combs, who is currently 54 years old, started the abusive pattern in their relationship from the very start.
