An Ohio man in prison identified as Brian Lumbus Jr. was accused of leading international drug trafficking in various countries with the help of an Italian con man named Giancarlo Miserotti and several others while the Ohio man in prison served his sentence for a million fraud scheme.
According to a report published in CBS News, the Ohio man in prison had been secretly coordinating with Miserotti and nine others, who have been working physically on their drug trafficking operation to distribute illegal drugs to their clients in different countries and communicating with the man in prison through telephone.
During the investigation, authorities learned that several others were doing the deeds for the Ohio man in prison while he acted normally to not get suspicions of leading the international drug trafficking that has been operating inside and outside the United States despite the lack of physical presence of the man in prison.

Authorities continued investigating how the Ohio man in prison was able to lead international drug trafficking while serving in prison and ensured that they would implement units inside prisons to prevent it from happening again, Cleveland reported.
