Following a protracted legal dispute, the city of Chicago has made police department camera evidence of an assault in process on the north side in August available to the public. A CPD supervisor instructed the cops to stop pursuing the getaway car while they were pursuing it, and the men continued robbing individuals.

Right after the robbery along Western and Albion avenues on August 16, CWBChicago ordered the police for “POD” footage. However, the city declined to give it to them, saying doing so would “rob individuals of a fair trial.” This is true even though no one has ever been taken into custody for the offense.
