Illegal Texas Cockfighting with Up to 300 Attendees Halted After Authorities Raided Their Location During Large Operation

An illegal Texas cockfighting was halted after local authorities raided their location during the large operation, wherein the Texas cockfighting reportedly had up to 300 attendees; some were participants while others were only bystanders.

According to a report published on Fox 26, the local authorities received a report about animal cruelty and raided the illegal Texas cockfighting in a covered place, where they discovered several live birds used in the Texas cockfighting as well as gambling equipment.

With the illegal Texas cockfighting being caught in the act, authorities also found drugs and pistols inside the vehicles found in the venue of the Texas cockfighting aside from the cockfighting paraphernalia and other equipment they seized after raiding the event.

Ongoing Investigation About Texas Cockfighting Continues as Hundreds of Suspects Remain at Large

Following the raid in the Texas cockfighting, 19 people were arrested and faced multiple charges while hundreds of suspects are still at large as they ran away when authorities came, Yahoo News reported.
