State hunger requests should terminate, J.B. Pritzker stated

J.B. Pritzker, the governor of Illinois, recently faced backlash for remarks he made on Twitter. Pritzker discussed achieving the objective of removing hunger in Illinois in this article. In and of itself, this is a great idea and unquestionably a desirable goal to have. Many, however, took advantage of the statement to attack their governor for previous poor decisions and policies made by Pritzker.

“This is Illinois,” he wrote on Twitter. Even in difficult circumstances, we are capable of anything if we work together. Thanks to the efforts of the IL Commission to End Hunger, eliminating hunger in our state is now a real objective rather than just a wishful dream. For Illinoisans, every step forward represents advancement.”
