According to a report published in US News, people with ADHD have the possibility of experiencing memory loss due to a higher risk of developing dementia, wherein studies revealed a possible genetic linkage between having ADHD and the risk of developing dementia.
While other symptoms of adults with ADHD or adults with the risk of developing dementia have similarities, health experts claimed that treating ADHD can also help reduce the risk of developing dementia, proving the link between the two conditions.

Aside from adults with ADHD, people with diabetes and depression were also linked to a high risk of developing dementia as these health conditions lower the levels of brain activity as time goes by.
