The incident, which transpired at approximately 11:35 a.m. on October 6th, unfolded when the suspect engaged in a physical altercation with a group of men right in front of 406 East Fordham Rd. situated in the Belmont neighborhood.

Law enforcement authorities have released a photograph of an individual sought in connection with a grave incident involving the stabbing of a 16-year-old boy that occurred in the Bronx just a week ago

Amidst the confrontation, the 16-year-old boy fell victim to a stabbing wound in the abdomen, after which the assailant quickly made his escape, fleeing on foot in a westward direction along East Fordham Road, as per information provided by law enforcement.

Swift Emergency Medical Response swiftly arrived on the scene, providing crucial care to the injured 16-year-old boy teenager and subsequently transporting him to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where the 16-year-old boy was reported to be in stable condition.

Law enforcement is urging the public to assist

The suspect is identifiable by his distinctive braided hair and was last spotted wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers. Law enforcement officials are urging the public to assist in identifying and locating the individual connected to this unfortunate incident involving a 16-year-old boy.
