Amidst the confrontation, the 16-year-old boy fell victim to a stabbing wound in the abdomen, after which the assailant quickly made his escape, fleeing on foot in a westward direction along East Fordham Road, as per information provided by law enforcement.
Swift Emergency Medical Response swiftly arrived on the scene, providing crucial care to the injured 16-year-old boy teenager and subsequently transporting him to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where the 16-year-old boy was reported to be in stable condition.

The suspect is identifiable by his distinctive braided hair and was last spotted wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers.
