Mother in Katy ISD annoyed after school-employed doctor allegedly went too far when checking daughter’s pulse

Katy’s mother expressed her displeasure when she stated that a doctor hired by the school went too far when he checked her teen daughter’s pulse.

Despite having numerous pulse locations on her body, she claims the doctor only took her pulse in her crotch. She adds that she doesn’t think Katy ISD will do anything to prevent it from happening to other kids in the future.

She claims that the physical occurred at Woodcreek Junior High School in May, but she didn’t get the reaction she was hoping for from Katy ISD.

Beverly Smith reported that her 13-year-old twins, a boy and a girl who were both athletes for Katy ISD, had gone to get checkups for conditioning and strength training on May 11th. The district hired the medical professionals who worked for Medical Colleagues of Texas.
