Kansas City Pharmacies Remain Open Despite CVS Pharmacists on Strike Following Demands for Better Working Conditions

Several Kansas City pharmacies remained open despite the ongoing strike on CVS pharmacists following demands for better working conditions as Kansas City pharmacies failed to increase the number of staff and provide the working conditions they deserved.

According to a report published in AP News, the Kansas City pharmacies failed to provide better working conditions to their CVS pharmacists, leading to the strike as they demanded better working hours and enough staff instead of demanding higher salaries from the Kansas City pharmacies just like other workers’ demands.

With the ongoing strike directed towards Kansas City pharmacies, affected CVS pharmacists claimed that working in Kansas City pharmacies required them to finish long working hours with only a few breaks every day, which kept them from providing better services.
