Tuesday saw the arrival of yet another bus bringing migrants from Texas, making it the fourteenth such arrival on June 14.
One bus carrying migrants from Texas landed at Union Station at about 9:10 a.m. today, based on a statement from Zach Seidl, deputy mayor of communications for Los Angeles. “This is bus number 14th to come. In addition to our religious partners, the city keeps working together with city departments, county officials, and an alliance of non-profits to carry out a strategy put in place earlier in the year. Yesterday, when we got aware of the bus, we followed the previous procedure and put our plan into action.
The City still doesn’t disclose how much it will cost to submit the refugees or where the money will come from.
The bus carrying 40 asylum seekers from Venezuela and El Salvador arrived, according to the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights. Inside the bus, there were 14 kids and 12 families.
