A Columbia man arrested for firing a gun in a crowded street hit a man while escaping from the scene using his car.
Columbia Man Arrested After Joining Unidentified Individuals in Exchanging Gunfire in Crowded Street
A 20-year-old Columbia man arrested named Te’Kwantarius Dion Johnson was accused of joining unidentified individuals in a shooting incident, wherein the Columbia man arrested was seen firing his gun in a crowded street as individuals started exchanging gunfire.
According to a report published in WSMV4, authorities responded to a shooting incident when a group of people, including the Columbia man arrested, from both sides of the street began exchanging gunfire with each other without thinking they might shoot civilians wandering around the street.
During the investigation, authorities discovered that no one had been shot during the incident where the Columbia man arrested was involved; however, a man was reportedly hit by a car as the Columbia man arrested tried to flee from the scene after the incident.

Columbia Man Arrested Faces Multiple Charges but Other Shooting Suspects Still At Large
Following the gunfire incident, the Columbia man arrested faced multiple charges for firing a gun in a crowded street, together with other individuals, who remained unidentified, Yahoo News reported.
Aside from the Columbia man arrested, authorities also encouraged anyone with crucial information about the shooting incident or the shooting suspects who fled from the scene and remained at large.
