Ohio Department of Health Continues to Offer Free COVID Vaccines to Uninsured Residents

The Ohio Department of Health continued to offer the updated free COVID-19 vaccines to all residents, including uninsured individuals, assuring that the Ohio Department of Health prioritized the health of all the residents, with or without insurance, following the increasing positive cases.

According to a report published in WFMJ, the Ohio Department of Health encouraged uninsured residents to take advantage of the free vaccines available to all the residents, wherein the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) allowed the Ohio Department of Health and several vaccine manufacturers to provide free COVID-19 vaccines.

With the updated COVID-19 vaccines, the Ohio Department of Health also offered free vaccines to children eligible to get vaccines as the CDC announced that even six months old children and above are now allowed to receive the vaccine, which led to the Ohio Department of Health’s decisions.

Following the increasing number of positive cases, the Ohio Department of Health informed the public about the availability of the updated free vaccines for eligible residents, even the uninsured, which are expected soon at several pharmacies in the state.

All residents who are interested in getting the updated free vaccines are encouraged to visit the official website of the Ohio Department of Health to make appointments or make walk-in appointments, Mahoning Matters reported.
