In a hearing at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, Till, who initially entered a plea of innocence, changed his stance.
Former UFC middleweight contender Darren Till has admitted his guilt to several charges stemming from a traffic stop incident in May
The charges he faced included obstructing a police officer in the course of their duties, though this particular charge was dismissed by the prosecution after Darren Till confessed to driving without insurance and operating a vehicle while disqualified.
The court has decided to impose an undisclosed fine on Darren Till, sparing him any incarceration. Darren Till, once a prominent figure in both the welterweight and middleweight divisions within the UFC, encountered a recent string of losses. After an impressive start with six consecutive victories upon his entry into the promotion, Darren Till secured a title shot against welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. Unfortunately, Darren Till was defeated in the second round via submission and has since struggled to regain his footing.

Despite the setbacks, Darren Till demonstrated resilience by accepting a fight offer from fellow former UFC competitor ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry. Their rivalry dates back to a private sparring session in 2018, and they have eagerly anticipated a formal showdown.
As Perry stands ready as a backup for the upcoming Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis clash on October 14, there is a chance that he and Darren Till might finally square off in the ring or cage. While Darren Till had initially sought other opportunities outside the UFC after a three-loss streak, he may now have a chance to reestablish himself against Perry if circumstances align in their favor.
