Obama’s chef’s reason and way of death were disclosed

Sadly, Tafari Campbell, the Obama family’s private chef, drowned unexpectedly when paddling in a lake on Martha’s Vineyard. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of Massachusetts has determined that the death was accidental and that the reason for death was “submersion in a body of water” based on the results of the autopsy.

Tim McGuirk, a spokesman for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Security and Safety, said that the postmortem findings for Campbell had not been made publicly in keeping with state protocol.

The Obamas have a summer home on Martha’s Vineyard, where Campbell, a 45-year-old former employee of the White House kitchen, was paddle boarding on July 23 when he unexpectedly lost his balance as he dived underwater, and was unable to come back as reported by the New York Post.
