A distant galaxy sparkles from the soft glow from the sky of its many tiny stars in a recent photo from the NASA Hubble Space Telescope.

The galaxy ESO 300-16 is located about 28.7 million lGaight-years away from Earth in the Eridanus constellation and is seen as sparkling stars against the dark space. Other stars and galaxies are featured in the new NASA Hubble Space Telescope.

The galaxy ESO 300-16 looms over the image produced by the NASA Hubble Space Telescope, said European Space Agency officials last Monday, adding that NASA Hubble Space Telescope captures the ghostly assemblage of stars which looks like a sparkling cloud.

The activity using NASA Hubble Space Telescope is a joint mission led by NASA and ESA. It is part of a series purposely to survey Earth’s galactic neighbors.

NASA Hubble Space Telescope captures ESO 300-16 which was classified as an irregular galaxy due to its indistinct shape and nonexistence of nuclear bulge. As an alternative, it resembles the shape of a cloud, comprised of numerous tiny stars all tramped together.
