Private Property Renters Continue to Struggle Due to Increasing Rent and Lack of Affordable Social Housing

Several private property renters continue to struggle due to increasing rent and a lack of affordable social housing provided, wherein private property renters are forced to pay more than what they have based on their incomes and even look for loans that would help them pay their rent, just to have a place to live.

According to a report published in The Independent, struggling private property renters were getting near to losing their homes as local officials kept failing to provide private property renters with affordable housing years after promising them enough housing.

With the lack of social housing, private property renters continued calling for affordable housing so that they would not settle on private renting, which only pushed private property renters to poverty due to increasing rent amidst the high cost of living.
