The Harris Health System is expected to expand with a new trauma center and community clinics following the $2.5 billion bond proposal in Harris County, wherein the Harris Health System would improve the facilities in several areas struggling with affordable healthcare services.
According to a report published in ABC13, the Harris Health System had been struggling with a lack of healthcare services and facilities and with the funding, would help in building needed facilities for individuals suffering from injuries and other services for low-income residents and those who were uninsured with the decreasing Harris Health System.
The funding for the Harris Health System would also address the needs of low-income patients suffering from a lack of services and infrastructures, improving the Harris Health System’s capability to be accessible for low-income residents seeking affordable yet quality services in the county.
