While a grand jury begins to hear testimony in a case involving the former president’s efforts to get the outcomes of the state’s 2020 election thrown out, Georgia prosecutors are apparently in possession of text conversations that connect members of Donald Trump’s campaign to a hack of voting machines.
This state inquiry claims to link Trump-connected lawyers and agents to a hack of voting devices in Coffee County, which is different from a federal inquiry and accusation accusing Mr. Trump of 3 felony schemes and delay related to the 2020 election disruption.
As per text conversations supposedly gathered by CNN, a local elections officer supposedly sent a “written invitation” to lawyers serving for then-President Trump when he and his associates sought out proof of fraud to put doubt on Joe Biden’s undisputed victory.
