According to The Post, New York City Mayor Eric Adams and Gov. Kathy Hochul have reached an agreement to move 1,200 migrant households away from the Big Apple. This is the state’s most significant response to the issue.
As per insiders, Hochul is also preparing for staffing 13 shelter facilities far from the city with the National Guard. Hochul has come under fire for being unusually absent as Adams and suburban communities fought over hosting refugees.
The information was released just a day after Adams warned President Biden once more in a frightening manner, this time for the 36th time, that the immigration crisis may eventually “decimate the big Apple if more government cash doesn’t come swiftly.
Only $142 million has been contributed or promised by the government thus far.
Biden has not made any more financial or aid commitments.
