Albuquerque Man Arrested Accused of Killing Priest in Tragic Car Accident After Driving at High Speed

An Albuquerque man arrested named Manuel Soria was accused of killing Father Graham Golden in a tragic car accident in 2021, wherein the Albuquerque man arrested was driving his vehicle at high speed before crashing the priest, leading to his death.

According to a report published in KOB4, authorities initially claimed that the Albuquerque man arrested had been driving at 90 miles per hour when he crashed the priest; however, the Albuquerque man arrested was later revealed to have been driving slower during the tragic car accident.

During his release, the Albuquerque man arrested was not allowed to drive anywhere, but he wanted to work as a delivery driver, which would require him to drive, so the Albuquerque man arrested requested to have consideration to be allowed to drive while working.

Albuquerque Man Arrested Will Only Serve Community Service and Probation Period After Killing Priest in Tragic Car Accident

Despite receiving a sentence of up to nine years in prison, the Albuquerque man arrested would only serve community service and 90 days probation period after pleading guilty to racing on a highway.

The victim’s family agreed with the judge’s decision, claiming that the priest would be against the idea of the Albuquerque man arrested serving in prison, KRQE News reported.
