A school custodian from Las Vegas, Nevada, has been taken into custody charged with sex trafficking, marking a significant development in the case of a missing woman

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department initiated the investigation after a woman approached them on August 1, alleging that she had been engaged in sex trafficking activities under Arberry’s influence. The woman, who had been reported missing in July, claimed that she had met Arberry while she was homeless. She asserted that Arberry compelled her to go on dates with clients, subsequently collecting the earnings from her encounters.

According to law enforcement officials, the woman eventually broke away from Arberry and reported the matter to the police, and was charged with sex trafficking.

Subsequent investigation efforts led to the location and apprehension of Arberry at his residence and was charged with sex trafficking

During questioning, Arberry acknowledged his role as a custodian at Von Tobel Middle School, part of the Clark County School District, for the past six years and was charged with sex trafficking. Despite denying any involvement in pimping or coercing women into prostitution, his language during the interview reflected familiarity with the terminology associated with the sex trafficking trade, and was charged with sex trafficking.

Upon obtaining consent, investigators examined Arberry’s phone records, revealing messages exchanged between him and various women that contradicted his earlier claims of non-involvement in such activities, and was charged with sex trafficking. Following his arrest, Arberry posted a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on November 14, 2023. This arrest sheds light on the broader issue of sex trafficking and its impact on the community.
