The majority of migrants who just breached the southern border and got transferred to Dallas wish they could travel to New York City. However, some asylum seekers began demanding a “surprising” demand, according to the NY Post.

Thousands of migrants are taken each month to Dallas’ Oak Lawn United Methodist Church. The church assists them in getting to their final locations, such as Miami, Chicago, and New York City.

Charity officials in Texas claim they inform migrants regarding the overcrowded shelters in New York City, but the migrants don’t seem to care. They still wish to visit that place. It is their “very preferred destination,” the Post said.

Even if they are aware that (New York shelters) are full, they arrive with an idea and are unable to let it go, according to Pasto Isabel Marquez.
