The incident occurred near Driftwood and Boathouse Drives, as reported by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, July 28, at around 1:36 a.m.
John Stettler, a 40-year-old man, is currently in custody following the tragic death of his 32-year-old ex-girlfriend in a go-kart collision last week
The victim, Sally Minard, was driving an ATV-type vehicle when the collision took place, resulting in critical injuries. She was immediately rushed to a hospital in Las Vegas, where she sadly succumbed to her injuries.
Authorities, including the Sheriff’s Office detectives and the Accident Reconstruction Team, conducted a thorough investigation into the incident. Their findings led to the conclusion that John Stettler, the ex-boyfriend of the victim, was operating the go-kart at the time of the crash. According to their determination, the collision was not a mere accident but rather a “criminal act” by John Stettler.
Consequently, deputies arrested John Stettler and subsequently booked him into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility
John Stettler is now facing a second-degree murder charge due to domestic violence.
