White Woman Arrested for Spitting on Black Woman During Protests in Connecticut Capitol Receives Dismissal of Charges

The White woman arrested for spitting on a Black woman during protests in Connecticut was identified as Yuliya Gilshteyn, and the White woman arrested was eventually granted dismissal of charges even after the racial discrimination claims.

According to a report published in US News, the White woman arrested met the victim, Keren Prescott, during protests in the Connecticut state Capitol, wherein the victim was part of a Black Lives Matter protest while the White woman arrested was one of the citizens who protested about mandatory child vaccinations and other requirements during the pandemic.

In a video released, the victim and other Blacks were shouting their slogans for Black Lives Matter when the White woman arrested interrupted them with remarks saying that Black lives don’t matter, and the White woman arrested later went on spitting the victim on her face before leaving.

Dismissal of Charges of White Woman Arrested for Spitting on Black Woman Disgusts Victim

Following the dismissal of charges of a White woman arrested for spitting on a Black woman, the victim expressed her disgust with the decision, claiming that the justice system in the state once failed the Black community to protect them.

With the dismissal of charges, the White woman arrested for disrespecting a Black woman is expected to undergo a probation program to resolve the case filed against her, NBC News reported.
