Biden Administration begins new alternative to push the Student Loan Forgiveness Debt Relief
The Department of Education held a public hearing about the Student Loan Forgiveness Debt Relief rule that would create a new path to Student Loan Forgiveness Debt Relief for many borrowers by expanding the authority of the Department of Education secretary under the Higher Education law.

Republicans have accused the present administration of trying to evade the Supreme Court decision on striking down the Student Loan Forgiveness Debt Relief plan for more than 43 million American debtors.
