The UGA employee filed a lawsuit against the University Of Georgia Athletic Association, former player Jalen Carter, and two other co-employees

Victoria Bowles, a recruiting analyst of UGA, filed the lawsuit in Gwinnett County State Court last Wednesday. The lawsuit accused the University of Georgia Athletic Association of negligence that made the crash, which killed fellow recruiting analyst and Devin Willock, a football player.

LeCroy was driving the vehicle that Victoria Bowles and Devin Willock were in, while former player Jalen Carter was driving a separate car. The two vehicles were racing before the vehicle LeCroy was driving crashed, according to the lawsuit filed.

The lawsuit argues that LeCroy should not have been driving the SUV for non-recruiting reasons and should not have been driving at high speeds or while drunk. The lawsuit also alleges that the athletic officials knew of LeCroy’s previous speeding tickets received.

The lawsuit argues that if UGA did not entrust the SUV to LeCroy on January 15, 2023, the car crash would have been prevented

The lawsuit alleges that the association knew that LeCroy had four speeding tickets. The lawsuit against the association would tell the things on the night of the car crash.

The athletic association answered against the lawsuit claims that it was not negligent in allowing LeCroy to use the vehicle.
