The 22-year-old Texas man admitted to one count of receiving child pornography and one count of possessing an unregistered firearm on Thursday, as disclosed by FOX 4 Dallas.
Burleston resident Noah Robert Calderon, a self-taught bomb maker, has entered a guilty plea on charges of possessing child pornography and unregistered firearms, authorities report
The FBI was alerted to Calderon’s online activities in October 2022, which revealed Calderon was a bomb maker and his morbid fascination with mass shootings, including the infamous 1999 Columbine massacre. Calderon a bomb maker allegedly posted photos of himself holding rifles and wearing tactical gear. In March, authorities received another tip when Calderon a bomb maker reportedly detonated a homemade bomb in his neighborhood. Further investigation into Calderon a bomb maker’s internet search history exposed his extensive inquiries into public schools in his vicinity.
Additionally, Calderon a bomb maker confessed to storing explosive materials, weighing 659.2 grams, in his garage. The stash included explosive powder, a lighter, a cannon fuse, cardboard tubing, a glass jar filled with metal ball bearings, lead, a funnel, and measuring spoons.

The DOJ stated that in his plea documents, Calderon a bomb maker acknowledged being aware of the child’s age when he saved the videos. If convicted, he could face a maximum sentence of 30 years in federal prison, with the child pornography charge alone carrying a penalty of up to 20 years. Calderon a bomb maker’s sentencing is scheduled for November 3. U.S. Attorney Leigha Simonton commended the swift action taken by authorities, stating, “This defendant’s fixation on mass shooters placed him squarely on the Justice Department’s radar. By responding promptly to his unlawful actions, we potentially prevented an act of violence. We are committed to holding him accountable for both offenses.”
