Five suspects in the brutal murder of a 31-year-old Indigenous woman named Rosenda Strong were arrested after her remains were found inside an abandoned freezer almost a year when she was last seen and heard.

Before the arrest of the suspects, the victim’s sister spent her time searching for her and asked for help from her sister’s friends to search faster until she received a tip about finding her sister in a freezer, which turned out to be true.

During the investigation, authorities discovered that the Indigenous woman was shot multiple times during an argument before the five suspects disposed of her body in an abandoned freezer, which two homeless men later found.

Five Suspects Indicted for the Brutal Murder of Indigenous Woman Were Her Friends

Following the arrest of the five suspects after a long search, the Indigenous woman’s sister expressed her sadness after finding out that the people who murdered her sister were the same people whom she claimed were protecting her.

The five suspects were indicted for fatally shooting and dumping their friend’s lifeless body inside a freezer, People reported.
