A 28-year-old Wagner ex-convict named Ivan Rossomakhin was arrested after murdering an 85-year-old woman identified as Yulia Buyskikh using an axe inside her home only days after returning home from war.
According to some of his neighbors and relatives, the ex-convict was problematic even before he returned from the war, claiming he always wandered the streets drunk and threatened to kill everyone in the area.
Following the arrest days after his return, the ex-convict admitted to murdering the 85-year-old woman, who reportedly owned a room he once rented, without revealing the true motives of committing the terrible crime.

Authorities Alarmed After Wagner Ex-Convict and Others’ Involvement in Various Crimes Following Their Return from War
Following the several Wagner ex-convicts’ return from war, authorities were alarmed because of the increasing crimes reported, including the murder of the 85-year-old woman inside her house only days after the ex-convict’s return.
Aside from the Wagner ex-convict’s recent arrest, other ex-convicts were also involved with at least seven violent crimes in various parts of Russia, AP News reported.
