New information has appeared in the case hearing of the neonatal nurse suspected of killing seven newborn babies and attempting to kill ten.

Prosecutor Nick Johnson said in his closing arguments that the neonatal nurse suspect used lethal air injection on twelve of her alleged victims. The air injection was one of her favorite ways of killing children in this murder case.
The neonatal nurse denies all allegations of the prosecutor against her. The neonatal nurse claimed it was poor hospital conditions and ventilation that caused the death of these newborn babies. She added that they used to have raw sewage coming out of the sinks and on the floor in the nursery of one of their hospitals.
The prosecutor asked the judge to consider the coincidences in the death of babies, which occurred at the Countess of Chester Hospital in June 2015 and June 2016.

Prosecutors referenced the testimony of nurses who worked with the neonatal nurse, Letby. Sophie Ellis, the designated nurse for Child C, whom prosecutors allege was killed by neonatal nurse Letby, testified that she saw a neonatal nurse standing over the newborn and telling her that the baby had a drop-in heart rate and oxygen saturation.
