Upland City Workers Will Expect Salary Increase and Bonus Under Pandemic Relief Funds

Under the American Rescue Plan Act, eligible city workers in Upland expect to receive a salary increase and bonus of up to $5,000, which will greatly help them return to keep with financial burdens after the pandemic.

According to Daily Bulletin, city workers expect a 5% salary increase and a 2% pay raise every six months for up to five working years. Those working for longer contractual years will expect a 3% salary increase.

Aside from the salary increase, eligible city workers will receive a bonus of up to $5,000 via check and reportedly will have additional bonuses for the next years.

Upland Officials to Provide Salary Increase and One-Time Bonus for City Workers to Keep Employees Amidst Increasing Numbers of Employees Leaving the City

Following the increasing number of employees leaving Upland for other cities, the officials will provide a salary increase and a one-time bonus for city workers to keep them.

With the upcoming salary increase and bonus for city workers, there will be an expected higher budget for this year in the Upland.
