A New York couple is charged with killing the Marine ex-husband who disappeared after dropping off his kids on April 28, 2020

Last Thursday, Jamie and Nicholas Orsini, a New York couple, were charged with conspiracy and carjacking in the 2020 death of Steven Kraft, a father of two and a former member of the U.S Marine.

The New York couple allegedly plotted to kill Steven Kraft. Their killing was sophisticated that it involved burner phones, stealing and dumping cars, and disposing of a body through burning. They denied the chance the dignity of having a proper burial of Kraft.

According to Federal prosecutors, the New York couple began plotting the murder two days before the ex-husband of Jamie disappeared. The New York couple bought a 10×100 foot paint tarp, duct tape, boots, and a suit at Home Depot in Fishkill, New York. They allegedly conducted a dry run on disposing of his body.

The Marine ex-husband of Jamie was never seen again after being allegedly killed by a New York couple

Police authorities believed Steven Kraft was murdered after he dropped off his children at home. Nicholas then drove the victim from Camry to Newburgh, New York, where he dumped his car. Nicholas walked to a gas station and used a burner phone to call a taxi. He went home just before 10 P.M.

The body of the victim of a New York couple has never been found. It is unclear if the New York couple has entered pleas or retained attorneys.
