Protective Order Signed to Prohibit Trump and Nauta to Disclose Information Handed to The Defense Team

Following the case of former president Donald Trump and Walt Nauta, a protective order was issued and signed to prohibit the two defendants from disclosing any information discovered that was handed to the defense team.

The protective order is used in national cases as a shield to protect crucial information and prohibit unauthorized persons or individuals from using the information other than its purpose to the case and disclosing it without permission.

According to reports from Law and Crime, issuing a protective order can also help during an investigation to prevent the obstruction of justice and possible disclosure of false information to the public.

Protective Order Will Protect Ongoing Investigations and Cases from Leaking Crucial Information

With the protective order to protect crucial information, the ongoing investigation for the Trump and Nauta case will progress without thinking that unauthorized individuals will leak the materials illegally.

While the protective order prohibits the disclosure of any information about the investigation, the information that had already been publicized or part of the public court record is exempted from the order.
