House Representative Pramila Jayapal teamed up with Senator Bernie Sanders to reintroduce a senate bill in Congress that would make students not pay tuition in public colleges and universities.
Senate Bill: Bicameral College for All Act
The College for All Act senate bill would remove tuition for most qualified families and make community college and university tuition-free.
The Senate bill would allow college students from single households with an income less than $125,000 annually or married households less than $250,000 annually to attend public colleges and universities tuition-free.
The reintroduction of the Senate bill comes as the Supreme Court prepares for President Joe Biden’s decision to forgive up to $20,000 in student loan debt per debtor.

The Senate bill aims to relieve student debt, proposing a plan which would upsurge the hurdles to taking out student loans.
Temporarily, the student debt crisis has hit. A total of $1.75 trillion in federal student loan debt and payments are set to resume in October.
