Terry Lorenzo Brown, a second man suspected in a shooting at a bar in Minnesota, has been convicted for the death of one person and injuries of over a dozen people.

The court found Terry Lorenzo Brown guilty of murder and attempted murder for the shooting incident

The court found Terry Lorenzo Brown guilty of second-degree murder and four counts of attempted second-degree murder. He was also convicted of illegal possession of a firearm.

On Oct. 10, 2021, Terry Lorenzo Brown and Devondre Phillips started shooting at each other at the Seventh Street Truck Park Bar near the downtown bar at St. Paul. Marquisha Wiley, a bystander, was gunned down, and 15 other people, including the two perpetrators, were injured.

Devondre Phillips was found guilty of second-degree murder and eight counts of attempted earlier this year.

Terry Lorenzo Brown involved in the shooting to defend himself

The lawyer Brown said that his client was involved in the shooting in self-defense after Devondre Phillips shot at him.

Prosecutors said surveillance video showed Brown advancing on Phillips with a gun as Phillips shot a friend of Brown in the stomach. Images showed Brown’s advance until the shooting between Brown and Phillips began.
