Several eligible New Mexico residents who have successfully filed their taxes for 2021 will be entitled to up to $1,000 in tax rebates for this month.
According to reports from Washington Examiner, the tax rebate will aim to provide relief to eligible New Mexico residents, especially with the increasing cost of living that adds to the financial burden of several families in the state.
The New Mexico residents who have successfully filed their taxes for 2021 will be eligible for the tax rebates, wherein individual filers will expect $500 in direct payments while married couples will receive $1,000 in tax rebates.

Several New Mexico Residents Will Get Up To $1,000 in Direct Payments on June 16
Eligible New Mexico residents will receive direct payments of up to $1,000 via direct deposits or paper checks; however, those who changed their banking details will expect to receive the tax rebates through a check to be sent in the mail.
The New Mexico residents eligible for the tax rebates but have not filed their taxes for 2021 still have until May 31, 2024.
