A pilot program opportunity from the Community Technology and Telecommunications Commission will support the digital inclusion program of Austin by giving computer laboratories around the community.
On May 24, at a commission meeting led by Nehemiah Pitts, he initially came across the pilot program when he encountered people from the N50 Project to work the global digital divide. The pilot program will be the start of a great strategic partnership. He pointed out that the pilot program would be one of the first public /philanthropic/ private partnerships.
The pilot program will focus on providing computers to community centers located in underserved areas.
The pilot program is still in the early stage
The pilot program from the N50 partners is giving community funds for technology and current and future projects.
