A Virginia man was arrested after fatally shooting a New Jersey pastor and councilwoman inside her SUV.

A 28-year-old Virginia man named Rashid Ali Bynum was arrested Tuesday after fatally shooting a New Jersey pastor and councilwoman, identified as Eunice Dwumfour, inside her SUV outside her home.
According to authorities, the 11-year-old daughter of the 30-year-old victim heard gunshots and later found out that her mother’s lifeless body was inside her SUV parked outside their home when the Virginia man fired multiple gunshots.
During the investigation, authorities discovered that the Virginia man went to the location of the shooting incident through his vehicle location data and matched the witnesses’ description of the man who killed the victim.

Virginia Man Faces Multiple Charges After Fatally Shooting New Jersey Pastor and Councilwoman
Following the tragic death of the pastor and councilwoman, authorities were investigating the possible motive of the Virginia man to do the crime with the help of a few details about the relationship and the connection of the suspect and the victim.
The Virginia man was later arrested and faced multiple charges, including murder, after fatally shooting the pastor and councilwoman just outside her home, AP News reported.
