All Vermont public schools students are going receive a $120 federal food benefits

This summer, all families of the students of the Vermont public schools are intended to receive a $120 federal food benefit from the government through federal pandemic aid funding.

The state of Vermont will disburse the federal pandemic aid funding to the households of 80,000 Vermont students. The students will receive $120 through electronic benefit transfer. The money can be used to buy goods at farmers’ markets, convenience stores, and grocery stores.

The federal pandemic aid funds for students will be distributed in August as a one-time benefit: no requirements or income limits to receive the federal pandemic aid funding for students.

Vermont State assures the families of Vermont students will get the assistance they were entitled

The state prioritized the welfare of the students and assured them that the families of Vermont get the assistance they deserved. Only students enrolled at schools are eligible to receive federal aid funds.

All Vermont public school students or other independent schools will receive the benefit cards this summer.
