It took over twenty minutes for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to finally be capable to give his remarks and take part in a Q&A session at his Twitter declaration event, which marked the beginning of a rough day for the governor’s presidential campaign.
DeSantis officially became an opponent on Wednesday after submitting his presidential papers to the Federal Election Commission. DeSantis’ initial chance to publicly promote his candidacy was the 6 p.m. Twitter event with business CEO Elon Musk and moderator David Sacks, and it didn’t turn out well.
Sacks explained the issues by stating that “We have received so many individuals here that we’re almost burning into the servers, so that’s a good sign.” Sacks further defined the issues to the event’s high level of interest.
