According to the sources, DeSantis will announce his candidacy for the Republican nomination through a live audio-only Twitter Spaces session on Wednesday at 6 p.m. ET. David Sacks, a supporter of Elon Musk, will referee the Twitter discussion.
DeSantis will discuss his campaign for Fox News later on Wednesday. He is also anticipated to officially enter the 2024 campaign this week by filing with the Federal Election Commission.
Musk, the well-known tech tycoon who purchased Twitter this past year, has declared his intention to support DeSantis in the year 2024.
