The father of the missing girl from Illinois is overjoyed after the police authorities tracked down his missing daughter, who was kidnapped six years ago when she was only nine years old.
The news that the missing girl Kayla Unbehaun was found safe in North Carolina last Tuesday was announced by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Kayla Unbehaun, a missing girl, was abducted on July 5, 2017, in South Elgin, Illinois, when she was nine.

The missing girl’s mother allegedly took her daughter, and the two never returned
The missing girl was found with the help of the store owner of Plato’s Closet, who recognized her from the Netflix Series Unsolved Mysteries. The store owner called the police officer, who then arrested the missing girl’s mother.
The missing girl’s mother was charged with child abduction, and not clear if she entered a plea already.
