The Governor of Washington DC makes three changes to make the tax refund go further to qualified working families

The three administrative changes are:

• It permits married workers who file their taxes separately to be qualified for a refund.
• It permits retroactive refunds for up to three years.
• The Department of Revenue will require to submit to the lawmakers a program report on the working family tax credit expansion.
