A suspicious man in a truck was allegedly involved in the disappearance and death of a 73-year-old woman with dementia.

Suspicious Man Accused of Being Involved in Woman with Dementia’s Death

A suspicious man who was accused of being involved in a kidnapping attempt was allegedly the same suspect in the disappearance of the 73-year-old woman with dementia named Assunta “Susy” Tomassi, who was later found dead along the coastline by a fisherman.

During the investigation, the 73-year-old woman was last seen riding a white pickup truck with a suspicious man on the wheel, and she was never able to go home again—alive.

Following the discovery of Tomassi’s remains, authorities received crucial information from a female citizen who claimed that she also had a similar experience, just like how the 73-year-old woman disappeared, after a suspicious man attempted to approach and lure her into entering his white pickup truck.

Authorities Continue the Search for the Suspicious Man

Without confirming that the suspicious man reported was the same suspect in Tomassi’s disappearance and murder, authorities are searching for him, which might lead to solving the case, Law and Crime reported.

Authorities encouraged everyone who knew the suspicious man, aged 30 to 40, with brown hair and a medium build, to contact them and provide any information that could help the case.
