Police Authorities arrested Zion William Teasly spotted running on camera, in connection with the murder of Lauren, who was found dead in North Mountain Trail Phoenix.

On Thursday, Phoenix Police Authorities identified and arrested the man spotted on camera. The arrest is relation the murder of Lauren Heike, 29 years old, a hiker who was found dead in North Mountain Trail Phoenix.
The Phoenix Police Authorities identified the suspect, Zion William Teasley, 22 years old. The police filed a case of first-degree murder against the suspect of the North Mountain Trail Phoenix Murder.
Lauren Heike was hiking on a desert trail near North 65th Place and East Libby Street before being stabbed and killed by the suspect of the North Mountain Trail Phoenix Murder. The friend of the victim has called the Phoenix police and stated that the victim is absent from her work and which was very unusual of her.

The DNA found in her shoe matched Zion William Teasley
On April 29, 2023, Lauren Heike, the victim of the North Mountain Trail Phoenix Murder, was found by the police authorities in a desert area of 64th Street and Mayo Boulevard after a resident called the police.
According to the autopsy result, Lauren Heike, the victim of the North Mountain Trail Phoenix Murder, suffered 15 stab wounds on her upper body. Also, the medical examiner found defensive wounds on her body.
On surveillance video, Lauren Heike, the victim of the North Mountain Trail Phoenix Murder spotted walking on April 28, 2023, at 10:52 A.M., with a man walking 36 seconds behind Lauren Heike. A minute later, the man was spotted running in the opposite direction, crossing the barbed wire fence. The DNA found in her shoe matched Zion William Teasley.
