More than 200 officers are everywhere, asking door to door just to find anyone with information. FBI Houston Special Agent in Charge (SAC) James Smith encouraged everyone to step up if they have any leads that will point to the location of Oropesa. He said that authorities are hoping that the large reward will motivate everyone to help in the search of the suspect. He also said that they will not stop until Oropesa is brought to Justice.

Residents of Cleveland, north of Houston, said that some resident in the neighborhood treat shooting guns as a means of fun. And that triggered the incident wherein some resident went to Oropesa’s fence and asked him to stop, instead of listening he backfired by saying that it’s his property and walked in front of the house with a rifle. There were 5 children who were covered by the deceased and brought to the hospital but was not injured.
