Economics lecturer William Darity at Duke University is demanding $350,000 in reparations for all black Americans who are descended from slaves.
The anticipated cost for Darity’s suggested restitution is $14 trillion. On Tuesday, he made the suggestion known when talking on Dr. Phil.
The payment of reparations to black Americans whose forefathers were held as slaves in the country is the first requirement.
