Japanese anime comedy series called Aggretsuko. Now a Netflix original series, it first premiered in TV shorts on the Japanese network TBS.
It centres on Retsuko, a red panda who works in an office and vents her frustrations by singing death metal after hours. The series was able to continue for five seasons thanks to its unique, deadpan humour and endearing lead. On February 16, the fifth season, which featured Retsuko entering politics, was published.
Aggretsuko quickly became popular among fans of anime, with seasons 1-3 receiving a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes. If Aggretsuko will return for a sixth season, show fans are curious.

Sadly, Aggretsuko won’t be back for season 6. The conclusion of the series had been revealed before to the premiere of season 5. With its debut in April 2018, the anime series Aggretsuko has gained a following. Despite the show’s cancellation, season 5 ended on a high note and was arguably its best. While the final episode lasted 34 minutes, the first nine episodes were all under 20 minutes. As the series came to a close, this provided fans with a gratifying conclusion and closure.

Retsuko is campaigning for office in Season 5 while Haida, much to Retsuko’s dismay, is jobless. When Haida meets an online buddy in person at an internet café, he must inform Retsuko’s parents that he is still unemployed unless he can find work. A suspicious individual also inquires about “Aggressive Retsuko” in the last season. Despite the pandemonium, Retsuko continues to sing her way through life while coping with her daily challenges.
All five seasons of Netflix’s Aggretsuko and the original TBS series were written and directed by Rarecho. Fans around may agree that the endearing panda will be missed.
