  • In light of a recent tragic shooting in Talladega County, Central Alabama CrimeStoppers has announced a reward of $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the offender.
  • Deputies from the Talladega County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 300 block of Swain Lane on November 12 at approximately 2:30 a.m. in response to a report of a man who fit the description of 26-year-old Don Andre Sanders, Jr.
  • Deputies found Don Andre Sanders, Jr., 26, who had been shot in the head, according to the sheriff’s office. Those who provided for him rushed him to the hospital in Talladega, where he received treatment at the Citizens Emergency Room.
  • It was reported by the sheriff’s department that Sanders died from his wounds.
