Patrick Cantlay Won the Memorial Tournament for the Second Time in 2021
With a 6-shot lead after the third round at the Memorial Tournament in Ohio, Jon Rahm was prepared to take the title.
However, a positive COVID test forced the player to withdraw, therefore Collin Morikawa and Patrick Cantlay competed for the right to lift the championship.
Morikawa led by one stroke going into the 71st hole, but Cantlay made a birdie to even the score at 13 under par.
